The Manoir de la Sauldre obtained the “Chambre d’Hôtes Reference” label in November 2023 !

At the Manoir de la Sauldre our rooms welcome you in a different, personalized, and warm atmosphere.

A living room with its bow window – view of the pond or its fireplace are at your disposal.

A large park, its rest areas, its heated swimming pool (from the end of May to the end of September depending on weather conditions), tennis, ponds and the murmur of the river invite you to relax.

The Domaine also offers high-end and private services such as jacuzzi, gym and games room (billiards, table football, air hockey, arcade games, etc.)

If you would like a wellness massage, please contact us in advance; This is a paid service carried out by a selected external service provider.

Bedroom on the 1st floor of the Manor, cozy and quiet with 2 single beds (90 200) that can be combined into a large bed of 180 200.

«La Vieille Ferme», the second cottage of the estate, renovated while keeping its style, its country charm. Quietly, it has a private outdoor terrace with garden furniture and its own jacuzzi.  Comfortable and spacious house for a maximum capacity of 7 people.

You have:

On the ground floor, an independent kitchen with access to the terrace, a living/dining area, 2 bedrooms – one with 2 single beds, the other with a double bed, and a bathroom and a shower room with WC.
Living room equipped with a double sofa bed and another single.
Beds made, towels not provided (extra charge), charges included except household.
Access to the various activities of the domain.

The estate also welcomes your pets on request.
We can host your horses, meadows and boxes are available.
The owners have pets that will come nicely to meet you.
You can also discover alpacas, a barnyard, and horses.

We are lucky to live in the very heart of nature, in peace, in an exceptional site which is preserved and rich in diversity in both fauna and flora.

At the Manoir de la Sauldre estate our motto is respect for nature and the environment. Thermal vehicles are left in the parking lot at the entrance; All trips are then made on foot, by bike or by golf cart.

With this in mind, we wish to limit our environmental impact in terms of waste and favor local, organic products that are not dangerous for the environment, while remaining in compliance with current legislation.

Cleaning: Some products used are natural and we use fabrics for dusting to avoid the use of paper towels.

Household waste : Our municipality – Argent sur Sauldre – sorts household waste. We regularly deposit our sorted waste at the recycling center.

We therefore provide you with “yellow” bags for all recyclable waste; At reception you will find a brochure from the community explaining sorting.

Room linen : To avoid excessive water consumption,

Towels : if you wish to change your towels, please put them in your shower. Otherwise, we will understand that you do not wish to change them.
Bed linen : if you wish – for a stay of several nights – to change the bed linen, please let us know directly. Otherwise, we will understand that you do not wish to change them.

Water : Water is an important resource. This is why the majority of our rooms are equipped with showers and not bathtubs. Water being a precious resource, we ask each of our customers to take care not to waste it.

Lighting : all our bulbs are now LED to consume less energy. Some lighting is powered by solar panels.

Current and upcoming projects

2024 is the year of replacing our oil boilers with Air-Water heat pumps, equipping certain premises with Air-Air heat pumps and our domestic hot water tanks with thermodynamic tanks.

Electric charging station :

To remain in this perspective of sustainable development, we intend to provide our customers equipped with electric vehicles with electric charging stations. (as well as for electric bikes)

Energy :

We are undertaking energy studies in order to reduce our current electricity consumption but also to study the installation of solar panels on the roof (or other installations) for self-consumption. We want – ultimately – to become 100% autonomous.

Our catering products :

We want to make local producers work as much as possible. We pay particular attention to our suppliers for our vegetables, cold meats, cheeses and desserts.
We are also developing a vegetable garden and an orchard to grow our own food.

The Manoir de la Sauldre is located on the Clémont road at the exit of Argent sur Sauldre.
